Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Moscow has intensified assaults on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to increase pressure on Russia.
"What's needed is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the G7 - in supplying defensive weapons and implementing penalties," mentioned in a public message.
Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 projectiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.
The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.
A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and residential structures in Kyiv.
Five out of the nine people hurt in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, according to municipal representatives.
Regional authorities said the city endured significant strikes throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child lost their life and three other people were injured.
The attacks follow nights of bombing campaigns in the region, parts of which are occupied by Russian forces.
